As fine art works, Chris Ledger images are only available in ►Limited Editions.
Each one is produced, signed and editioned to order by the photographer.
The intricate nature of the images requires the highest quality printing and finishing materials....
• Technical print quality is care of professional LARGE FORMAT Epson Stylus Pro equipment which - with Epson's Ultrachrome K3 inkset - can even draw out the extremely fine detail of a multi-Gigabyte panorama.
• To cope with this sort of resolution we use one of the finest fine art paper stocks available: the superb, Hahnemuehle © "Photo Rag Pearl" 320gsm. A winner of the much coveted TIPA award, it is one the most highly regarded digital fine art papers of recent years.
• The world's leading authority on archival standards, the USA's Wilhelm Imaging Research, also rates this ink / paper combination very highly in terms of it's archival properties.
To maintain this quality over time our mounting and framing is carefully chosen. We use:
• PH neutral, computer cut, hinged window mounts and "barrier boards".
•Framing:
Custom made, quality Nielsen Bainbridge, gallery-style, thin black aluminium frames.
•Framing option (not available for 40cm high panoramas):
Custom made Acrylic box frames. (As announced on the October 2013 News page).
