This mid September depiction of Kingly Court, just off Carnaby Street, was made with the idea of using the tree, with it's array of white lights, to fill the top of the image - as proxy for stars in the sky. Of course, as the little square is now full of small, trendy shops and restaurants (a revival that harks back to the 1960s heyday of the area at large) there was always going to be plenty of other interest readily to hand and the anticipated diners were, as it happens, augmented by both a busking guitarist and another photographer.
